Product Description

ABS is an important component of any heavy-duty truck's braking system. Not only does ABS keep wheels grounded, but it helps to prevent lock-up; skidding; and losing control of vehicles.

This controlled air dryer is used for service of existing Electronically Controlled Air Dryers (ECAD). It requires Volvo Air Processing Software. The 12 volt unit contains a Desiccant and Oil separator cartridge and has a DIN 72585 A1-2.1-Sn/K1 heating connection. Its operating pressure, and opening pressure are both 13 bar. It has a calculated volume of 6.1021 and a temperature range of -40°C to +65°C. Its port thread sizes are as follow: Port 21: 1/2" - 14 NPTF; Ports 22 and 4/23: 1/4" - 18 NPTF.
