GATES HEAVY-DUTY SERPENTINE KITS
Why buy serpentine belt kits, you ask? Because tensioners generally wear out around the same time as serpentine belts.
Drivers that install new serpentine belts, but not tensioners, can see a reduction in power as the tensioner goes bad. Did you know that a worn tensioner can make a new belt wear out 2x faster? While you are replacing one, why not the other? Kits make system repairs simple and convenient!
Gates FleetRunner® serpentine kits are as convenient as they come arriving right to your doorstep with everything you need to install a new belt system in your heavy-duty anything. The serpentine kits come complete with belt, tensioner and pulley (as required*) plus hardware and instructions.
The kits are available for all types of applications to offer options for all types of drivers cruising down the road in Volvo and Mack trucks and Detroit Diesel engine types.
FleetRunner® belts are engineered to handle high mileage; high idle times and high temperatures through all kinds of harsh weather environments. Because of their durable design, they last 34 percent longer than OE and 4 times longer than competing belts on the market. The belt tensioners offer a unique round spring design and patent damping mechanism to extend the life of the product, as well.

Gates Drivealign® Heavy Duty Belt Tensioners are built with a rugged design to handle even the most severe weather conditions and road abuse. Heavy-duty belt tensioners and pulleys by Gates feature large double row bearings to carry more load and last up to three times longer than separate bearings from those other guys. The labyrinth Seal technology (dust shield) on the steel pulley prevents damage and contamination of internal parts to increase longevity of life for the product, as well.
Tested and approved for drop-in replacement in heavy-duty vehicles and optimized for maximum strength and durability!
Tensioners/pulleys can be purchased separately or come part of the serpentine kit.
GATES LIMITED WARRANTY
Gates Complete Serpentine Kits come with lifetime warranty coverage on parts and labor when the kit is installed and the shop is registered. Goods are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for the life of the Goods; however warranty exempts products that color fade or are improperly installed.
